Job Description

U.S. Bank National Association is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join the External Risk Request Management (ERRM) function. This role serves as a centralized liaison between internal Risk and Compliance Specialists, Business Lines (BLs), and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and standardized responses to client and partner risk-related inquiries.

The Analyst will play a key role in supporting enterprise-wide responses to external requests related to risk assessments, enterprise readiness, disaster recovery, business continuity, cybersecurity, and other information governance topics. This position is critical in demonstrating the company’s commitment to regulatory compliance, data protection, and industry-leading risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a central point of contact for coordinating and managing external risk-related requests across the enterprise.Collaborate with Business Lines and internal Risk and Compliance Specialists to gather, validate, and synthesize information into cohesive, client-ready responses.Ensure responses align with enterprise policies, regulatory expectations, and risk management standards.Interpret complex risk concepts and translate them into clear, accurate narratives that provide assurance to external stakeholders.Maintain a strong understanding of evolving policies, procedures, and regulatory trends across the enterprise risk landscape.Independently manage project deliverables, stakeholder meetings, and initiatives to ensure timely and complete execution.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality of responses.Anticipate stakeholder concerns and objections and proactively address them through effective communication and negotiation.Uphold a high standard of professionalism and represent the TPRM function with credibility and influence.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, Finance or related field.Typically, more than six years of applicable experience in risk management, third party or vendor risk, or a related compliance function.Strong understanding of third party risk domains (e.g. information security, resiliency, compliance, financial health, etc.).

Preferred Skills/Experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in interpreting abstract risk concepts.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Experience with RSA Archer or similar Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Deep understanding of financial services operations, products, systems, and associated risks/controls.Familiarity with key risk domains such as information security, cybersecurity, compliance, and operational risk.Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence outcomes without direct authority.The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: zł171 020,00 - zł201 200,00
