**We are searching for the best talent for an External Manufacturing Leader role, to** **join our team located in Yokneam, Israel** **.**
**Purpose:** As an External Manufacturing Leader you will be responsible for local & global suppliers. The category and spend are medium complexity in nature and require collaboration with key stakeholders within the business to execute. This role will require limited management oversight. This individual will identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurement goals and strategy. The EM Lead will plan and direct the organization’s activities and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence. The EM Lead will provide Global and Regional Leadership for deploying end-to-end sub-contractors and suppliers sourcing strategy, maintaining key relationships within the business and managing supplier relationships. The position must shape, connect and lead resources to deliver on key projects.
**You will be responsible for** **:**
+ Develop and drive the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community.
+ Lead sourcing process; Understand long range requirements of business partners and engage in strategic planning and partnering to ensure alignment; Develop and execute sourcing strategy for medium complexity sourcing decisions and optimized supply chain.
+ Negotiate commercial direct materials & Indirect services supply agreement contracts.
+ Develop and lead price and cost initiatives; Prepare and execute RFQs for medium complexity sourcing decisions; Conduct negotiations with suppliers
+ Identify, develop and direct the implementation of Procurements goals and category strategies, based on deep subject matter expertise and an informal understanding of industry/market dynamics
+ Interface internal & External Senior leaderships to assure alignment of J&J’s objectives are met, including quality, reliability, innovation and cost; Conduct additional negotiations, if required.
+ Deliver on financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments.
+ Conduct Top-to-Top meetings with suppliers that include holistic supplier performance management and review.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management / economics / business administration or equivalent.
+ MBA or equivalent - an advantage
+ Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar position as Commodity / Product Sourcing Leader / Manager or Senior strategic Buyer / Supply chain leader (Medical Device Companies – preferred).
+ Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices and core Procurement areas of focus (Spend Management, Category Management & Sourcing and Supplier Management).
+ Experience in Electronics Sub-contracting Industry and 2nd-tired suppliers management.
+ Strong level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community
+ Ability to influence and understand differing needs of stakeholders (e.g., businesses, Procurement LT, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain)
+ Leadership, communication, influencing and collaboration are required
+ Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when necessary
+ Ability to show judgment in developing new approaches and resolving issues
