The PositionAs a team member of the External Collaborations Enablement Team, in your role you will actively drive and facilitate the E2E Compliance Process Management and Controlling. You will partner with Roche internal partners and external customers for the engagements within your responsibility and you will ensure that all Healthcare Professional (HCP) and Patient related engagements steps and work related to GSD requests for HCO/Patient organizations are effectively and efficiently managed and related transfers of value are executed on time, in high quality and in line with all compliance rules and regulations.
The Position
As an External Engagement Coordination Partner, you bring a profound healthcare compliance expertise with you and will provide support to the Roche Network in the very key area of Healthcare professional/KOL engagements, Patient Partnership (PP), and Grants, Donations and Sponsorships (GSDs) for Healthcare Organizations (HCOs) and Patient Organizations. You will be working closely with Global Organizations to ensure Events with Healthcare professionals are conducted in an ethical and compliant way.
End-to-End Compliance Process Management and ControllingManage the E2E compliance process for HCP/HCO, patient engagements, and GSD management while ensuring timely, high-quality execution and excellent customer satisfaction.
Ensure correct calculation and analysis of Fair Market Value (FMV) and compliant transfer of value (ToV) for HCP engagement activities.
Closely monitor the reconciliation of POs, invoice, and payment to guarantee swift execution with 100% accuracy; interact with global pharma compliance offices and affiliates to determine FMV and other hospitality restrictions and seek approvals; ensure timely and compliant submission of Actual Spend Reports upon engagement completion in collaboration with PCO; and execute Travel & Logistics activities as requested by the Event Managers within the team.
Compliance Expertise and AdvisoryOffer expert healthcare compliance advice to senior leaders and facilitate discussions with relevant parties when needed.
Ensure adherence to global and local regulations during external engagements.
Process Development and ImprovementPartner with team members, Compliance, and Procurement Departments to develop new work processes, tools, or resources.
Drive and assist the E2E external engagements process across the company and scale up capabilities within the team.
Your Profile
Bachelor degree is a must, along with 5+ years of experience in Customer Relations Management, Finance, Procurement, Audit, Event Management, or related fields.
5+ years of experience with HCP/HCO and/or Patient community interactions, including understanding Pharma collaborations with Healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Solid understanding of healthcare compliance and external reporting requirements, combined with profound project management skills.
Strong organizational and process excellence skills to drive change, transform complex processes, and demonstrate system affinity in using iHCP/GSD tool, MyBuy tool, SAP, MDMS, and other affiliate approval tools.
Experience networking, engaging, and partnering within global structures, establishing positive relationships, and working in a complex matrix environment.
Cross-functional stakeholder management experience with the ability to negotiate and communicate with global networks, country compliance contacts, and external customers/partners.
Possesses excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with proven troubleshooting, analytical skills, attention to detail, and exercising sound compliance judgment.
Strong work ethic standards, strong personal integrity, continuous improvement mindset, knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., scrum, design thinking, lean), and capability of applying them to generate impact.
