The STEM & Gardening Program Assistant will be an effective communicator with the experience and skills to engage with a variety of people and groups. They work as a member of the local county Extension team and as a local representative of Colorado State University. This individual will work under the programmatic guidance of the County Director and Enrichment Education, Natural Resource Specialist as well as regularly collaborate with other Extension Specialists across programming from within the Garfield County Extension Office. Position Minimum Qualifications + High school diploma or G.E.D. + 1 year of professional work experience relevant to the position. + Candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision. + Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date. Preferred Qualifications + Has completed at least 2 years of college. + Computer and office equipment experience.
