About The Role

The Client Service Associate is often the first point of contact with clients on a broad array of services related to account servicing, financial plans and investment portfolios. Working with the financial advice team, this industry professional brings relationship management experience with knowledge of the financial advice process and markets to cultivate longstanding relationships with clients. This self-starter must be able to work across the team and across the firm to respond quickly and accurately to client questions and concerns. The Client Service Associate is an integral member of the financial advice team and is responsible for delivering a consistent, positive client experience to help ensure all commitments are completed and delivered in a timely manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Facilitation of all administrative client queriesClient on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation, creation of client record in MSWM systems.Arrange and assist with maintenance of client account and records, in line with current AML/CTF, KYC RegulationsIPO and corporate action allocation managementPreparation of client valuations, asset allocations and reporting as requiredAssist in client asset transfers, including cash, both domestically and internationallyProcess and monitor stock settlements, including follow up with clients regarding outstanding funds.Prioritise competing adviser requests in a fast-paced environmentEstablish and maintain relationships with other internal stakeholders and departmentsParticipate in department cross-training as requiredParticipate in process development initiatives to increase efficienciesProactively notify client/s and financial advice team of any issues recommending a solution and timeframeComply with the ethical standards contained within the Company Code of Conduct.Adhere to Company policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements.Understand US and UK tax forms like W8BEN and CRS (preferable)Understand Opt In, FDS and Client Consent (ie FOFA) forms (preferable)

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education/ Experience

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education or experience4+ years plus relevant working experience in the financial services industryRG 146 compliantAdditional product licenses may be required

Technical/Specialist skills/competencies

High attention to detailStrong literacy and numeracy abilityGood knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organisational skillsA fundamental knowledge of financial advice process, markets and industry
