As a Civil & Structure Engineer (Contract Based), you will be responsible to provide discipline specific Civil & Structure engineering services to the client, and technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines. 

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience a Civil & Structure Engineer or similar role.

What you’ll do

We are looking for Civil & Structure Engineer (Contract Based) to join our project team in Indonesia.

The role responsibilities include\:

Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, Monitoring the construction Contractor’s planning, work and advising the Client on Contractor’s requests for information (RCI) and the field work instruction (FWI) procedures during construction on behalf of client. Issuing of SPC (Site Possession Certificate), Clearance Certificates between PC and EPC contractor. Review of all contractors WMS (Work Method Statements) Review of contractor’s Weekly work plan Review and check of all Engineering Native files, Site boundary limits on behalf of client prior to issue to contractor Review of material issue requests Chair weekly engineering meeting between contractors and client Weekly Geotechnical walkdown with client and contractor Issue of SWP (Site work permits) daily including assessments prior to start of works Ensure they understand and apply the client quality management system. Collaborate closely with client and contractors to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution. Ensure construction work conforms to applicable specifications, codes, and standards. Promote interdisciplinary communications on projects. Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks of completed construction tasks to ensure they align with design specifications and meet high-quality standards. Ensure contractors is using material specified according to Design criteria’s Ensuring that the Go No Go status prior to start of work fronts  *

What you’ll have

Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience a Civil & Structure Engineer or similar role. Prior experience in mining industry and/or resources industry is advantageous Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Piping, Instrumentation) Have the experience and skills to set the standard and drive the rest of the team to excel in HSE Competent in relevant Microsoft Office software Familiarity with project management software tools is an advantage. Excellent communication skills. Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
