Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Engineering Managers, Project Managers, or Senior Engineers with a mechanical or electrical engineering background and proven rolling stock experience. The successful candidates will support the verification and validation of completed builds, manage and monitor engineering activities, and ensure alignment with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
This role is preferred to be in Auckland, but suitable candidates in Australia may be considered for relocation or FIFO opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate verification and validation activities for completed rolling stock builds.Develop and execute V&V plans in compliance with relevant standards and project specifications.Monitor engineering activities and report on progress to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, production, and quality.Conduct inspections, assessments, and documentation reviews to ensure build compliance.Engage in problem-solving activities and support issue resolution workstreams.Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsTertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).Significant experience in rolling stock and railway engineering projects.Demonstrated experience in verification and validation activities.Strong understanding of engineering standards applicable to railway systems.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Proven ability to manage priorities within tight timelines and dynamic environments.Additional InformationShould you feel that this position is a suitable fit for you and you have the requisite skills and experience to thrive in this role, we invite you to apply online today and take the next step in your professional journey!
