Exports Specialist
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a global medical device manufacturer in Bedford, MA to recruit an experienced **Export Specialist** . This is a full-time, **temp to perm** opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. **Position:** Exports Specialist **Location:** Bedford, MA **Compensation:** $25/hour **Schedule:** Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | **Key Responsibilities:** + Coordinate with **freight forwarders** to e nsure accurate and timely international shipments. + Prepare and process **export documentation** , including: + Commercial invoices + Packing lists + Shippers Export Declarations (SEDs) + Certificates of Origin + Handle **air and ocean shipments** , ensuring compliance with **export regulations and procedures** . + Apply knowledge of **U.S. Customs Schedule B numbers** and **Harmonized Tariff Codes and Chapters** during documentation and classification. + Scan and electronically **file export-related documents** into internal systems for recordkeeping and compliance. + Communicate clearly and professionally via **email** with vendors, internal teams, and external partners. + Follow detailed, step-by-step **processes** and maintain accurate notes and records. + Work efficiently in a **busy, fast-paced environment** , managing multiple tasks simultaneously. + Once trained, perform responsibilities **independently** , while also collaborating effectively with the team. **Qualifications:** + Prior experience working with **freight forwarders** and coordinating export shipments. + Experience in preparing essential **export documents** and understanding relevant **regulatory requirements** . + Familiarity with **air and ocean shipping logistics** and **U.S. export laws and compliance** . + Understanding of **Schedule B / Harmonized Tariff Codes** required. + **SAP experience** is a plus but not required. + Excellent **organizational skills** , attention to detail, and ability to **multitask** effectively. + Strong **email communication skills** and the ability to take accurate notes. + Must be **reliable** , a **team player** , and able to **work independently** after training. **Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
