Job Description

Position Summary:

The Export Coordinator III is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end export process,

ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of international customer orders. This includes preparing export

documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, working closely with freight

forwarders and logistics teams, and serving as a key point of contact for export-related customer

communication. The role demands high attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and a proactive approach

to problem-solving within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage international customer orders and schedule agreements to ensure timely and compliant export shipmentsCoordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouse teams to arrange transport, ensure proper packaging, labeling, and temperature-controlled solutions are in place, timely dispatch, and monitor delivery of goods.Prepare accurate export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other customs-related paperworkLog and resolve customer queries and complaints, whilst ensuring that departmental processes and procedures are adhered to.Liaise with relevant departments for stock availability, customer pricing and resolve issues whilst adhering to the regulatory requirementsCommunicate proactively with international customers regarding order status, delays, or issues impacting delivery timelinesMonitor export performance metrics including LOTIF (Lines On Time In Full), and take corrective actions when targets are not met.Act as a role model by demonstrating the Thermo Fisher Scientific 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement) in all interactions.Support the continuous improvement of export processes through the company’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives.Promote and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and contribute to a safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience in an export, logistics, or customer service role.Working knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approachHigh level of attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong Team player skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentComplaint handling/conflict resolution skillsBasic understanding of international trade and export compliance is preferred.
