The role:
As an Export Coordinator, you will help drive our goals by:
To arrange for the safe and secure transport of all shipments (UK and International) with appropriate approved freight forwarders or carriersTo arrange for the safe and secure collection of refining materials from our customers for delivery to the appropriate siteEnsuring shipments are processed in a timely manner to meet customer required delivery datesLiaise with carriers / forwarders on issues of reported delays, losses or damage to any Johnson Matthey shipments and advise internal customersProvide advice and guidance to sales and customer service teams on the cost and risk implications of alternative shipping methods (Road, Sea, Air) INCO termsKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:
A willingness to learn and have an awareness of business and commercial issuesGood working knowledge of export operations including documentation requirementsKnowledge/understanding of international regulation for carriage of hazardous materialPrevious experience shipping Dangerous goods by Air, Road and SeaEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!
