Job DescriptionResponsibility for compliance with global and national export control regulations and policiesActively monitoring and tracking from proposed rules/regulations changes , communicating impact to the organization, and providing solutions to mitigate export compliance risk exposure.Implementation and monitoring of the requirements of the Bosch Global Standards and Procedures within his/her area of responsibility and translation into national processes.Consulting for all Export Control related questions in the USContinuous monitoring of business activities as well as review and release of business models or individual transactionsSteering and support of internal and external auditsResponsible for export license process including determination of license requirement, preparation submissions and monitoring of licensesReview and audit of US Export Control ClassificationMonitoring of national export control law changes and continuous alignment with the global export control governance teamResponsibility to evaluate deemed export transactionsReview and update Export Control contract clause/language in agreements, NDA's, quotes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree10+ years of experience with export control in North America (EAR and OFAC)Demonstrated ability to advise internal customers on regional and global policies and processesSAP / GTS knowledge or equivalent system

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work across all levels of an organization (including executive and with cross-functional teams)Team player attitudeStrong customer orientationStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong organizational and prioritization skillsHistory of being solutions orientatedCES or CUSECOStrong back ground in Software, Technology Transfer, and Semiconductors a plus.Legal background and advanced understanding of ITR contract language and amendments a plus.Familiar with Canadian Export Control regulations a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $180,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
