In this role you will:
Architect and Develop the Haptic Peripheral Ecosystem
Design and implement a scalable haptic ecosystem that enhances Logitech’s productivity and gaming solutions alike.
Ensure ecosystem compatibility with Logitech’s HID devices and software, as well as emerging technologies used in modern PWS tools (e.g., haptic-enabled input devices, etc.) and gaming systems.
Drive Technology Innovation
Adopt advanced haptic feedback technologies to redefine user interactions for both professionals and gamers. Examples could include better tactile responses in keyboards for productivity-focused users or immersive force feedback in gaming peripherals.
Balance varying user needs across PWS (e.g., ergonomics, precision, accessibility) and gaming (e.g., responsiveness, sensory engagement).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Liaise closely with hardware, firmware, software, and industrial design teams to ensure innovative yet practical product solutions.
Actively explore partnerships within the productivity (e.g., video conferencing, task-oriented tools) and gaming industries to integrate third-party technologies and expand ecosystem capabilities.
Represent Logitech in haptic standardization and forum (internal and external).
Lead partnership to integrate haptics in the full ecosystem (from HW to SW), including creative software and video game development companies.
Prototype, Validate, and Iterate
Translate high-level concepts into working prototypes for both PWS and gaming peripherals.
Define and validate system-level requirements to ensure solutions meet functional, aesthetic, and ergonomic standards for the two use cases.
Lead efforts to test the systems' reliability, connectivity, and performance under the diverse conditions of a professional and gaming environment.
Deliver User-Centric Innovations
Utilize user research to fine-tune the haptic ecosystem, ensuring that professional users benefit from increased precision and productivity while gamers gain heightened immersion.
Constantly explore innovative ways to enhance tactile experiences in tasks ranging from content creation to gaming immersion.
