Kforce has a client that is seeking an Expert Software Architect - Internal Tools for a remote role. Responsibilities: * Assess code base, change management, and distribution/build models for key apps * The Software Architect will work through the identified backlog of bugs in the applications, resolving issues and improving the application's stability * Develop a roadmap to streamline existing applications to reduce complexity and dependencies and increase supportability * Partner with internal teams across security, infrastructure, and identity management to ensure applications are adhering to internal best practices * Lead the initial maintenance, assessment, and cleanup of applications * As a Software Architect, you will guide the team through the process of sunsetting outdated applications * Act as the senior architect to set the direction and bring in additional developer resources
