JOB SUMMARY:
To assist in testing, modifying, building, installing, and inspecting of mechanical and structural aircraft assemblies, sub-assemblies per engineering specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircrafts, and test articles by installing a variety of sheetmetal and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.Responsible for proper assembly and installation of major aircraft components to meet engineering objectives and schedules. Assist with analyzing, interpreting, and proving engineering assembly/installation drawings, and specifications for production use.Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to.Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages. May build shop-aids, jigs and fixtures for Experimental projects.Responsible for own workPerforms other related duties as requiredJOB SUMMARY:

High School education or equivalent is requiredEXPERIENCE:
Requires the use of advanced shop math, complex blueprints and specifications, some measuring instruments. Must have basic knowledge of aircraft manufacturing principles.2 years minimum, preferred 5 years year sheet metal, tooling, fabrication, airframe assembly, or related experience required.Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
