JOB SUMMARY:
To assist in testing, modifying, building, installing, and inspecting of mechanical and structural aircraft assemblies, sub-assemblies per engineering specifications.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircrafts, and test articles by installing a variety of sheetmetal and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions.Assist a leader in researching, planning, guiding, and directing of the assembly process.Responsible for supporting lesser grade team members in the proper assembly and installation of major aircraft assemblies, as required to meet engineering and schedule objectives.Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to.Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages. Managing and maintaining Velocity data. May build shop-aids, jigs and fixtures for Experimental projects.Responsible for own work.Performs other related duties as requiredFAA Airframe Powerplant license preferredJOB SUMMARY:

High School education or equivalent is requiredFAA Airframe Powerplant license preferred.EXPERIENCE:
Requires the use of advanced shop math, complex blueprints and specifications, some measuring instruments. Must have advanced knowledge of aircraft manufacturing principles.Minimum 3 years, preferred 8-10 years, years sheet metal, tooling, fabrication, airframe assembly, or related experience required.Must strongly exhibit Textron and Textron Aviation values and business conduct guidelines. Strengths include strong peer relationships, conflict management, action oriented, approachability, and able to deal with ambiguityTextron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations.
