Job Description:

In order to manage current and future projects for the cross-commodity coordination of the supplier Hensoldt, Airbus Helicopters Donauwörth is looking for you to join the team as soon as possible as our new Senior Strategic Buyer - Key Account Hensoldt (m/w/d).

Your location:

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Leading procurement activities, initiating tenders and conducting contract negotiations to achieve the best purchasing terms according to the company's requirements.

Overseeing contracts (during innovation, development, series and support phases) with suppliers and company stakeholders to achieve full application of terms and conditions throughout the contract lifecycle and to ensure that suppliers deliver the expected performance in all dimensions (logistics, support, quality, cost, etc.)

Managing day-to-day relationships with suppliers and leading projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks

Work in multi-functional teams throughout the proposal, contract creation and contract lifecycle phases

Coordinating all buyers working with the key account supplier

Managing the collaboration with the key account supplier across the full range of strategic to operational issues

Organizing regular exchanges with the key account supplier at all levels, including top management meetings and preparing these for our managers.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Completed studies in business administration, engineering or similar

Many years of relevant professional experience in the areas of procurement, contract and project management

Experience in development, sales, program management, etc.

Negotiating skills and a confident manner at different hierarchical levels in an international environment

Very good communication and conflict resolution skills

Experienced with IT solutions (SAP, Excel, etc.)

International experience and ability to work in a team

Business fluent in German and English

Willignes to travel (according to arrangements)
