Boeing Test and Evaluation team is currently looking for one Experienced Software Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. Test & Evaluation engineers at Boeing make sure that products at the world’s largest aerospace company continue to meet the highest standards. From quality and reliability to safety and performance, their expertise is vital to the concept, design and certifications of a wide variety of commercial and military systems.
Position Responsibilities:
This is a software development role. Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Design, develop, test, debug and maintain software applications.
Lead the architectural design and development of scalable web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Document technical specifications, architecture, and design decisions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Develop training materials for Enterprise-wide sharing.
Identify and resolve performance issues in applications, optimizing both front-end and back-end components for maximum efficiency.
Work closely and regular connects with Product managers, Product owners, Leads and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet user needs.
Develop and execute software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments.
You will work as part of an agile development team.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor/Master is required as basic qualification.
Minimum 8-12 years of previous experience as full stack developer.
Proficiency in front-end UI frameworks, preferably Vue.js, with experience in Angular or React as a plus.
Strong experience in the development of Web APIs, Services etc. using with dotnet 6 and above.
Hands-On Experience developing UI components using front end frameworks such as Vue.js(preferred), React or Angular
Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
Strong understanding of OOPS Concepts and experience with design patterns.
Write and maintain unit test cases to ensure code quality and reliability.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues.
Experienced with GIT for code versioning.
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins
Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
Excellent communication skills. Verbal communication should be clear, as well as written skills using US English.
The candidate can work on a fast-moving development team, be candid about the status of their work with the development team.
Strong written and oral interpersonal skills for creating and improving technical documents, and to effectively engage globally distributed engineering team.
Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle
Proficient with software development and system integration including Agile concepts.
Experience with microservices architecture.
Experience with authentication implementation using WSSO (Web Single Sign-On).
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient with the MS Office suite of tools and should also demonstrate effective written and verbal English communication skills.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience
