**Req Number** 164097 FlexStaff is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our client's team in a day hab setting. Responsibilities: As our Occupational Therapist, you'll craft personalized treatment plans to help individuals maintain, restore, or improve their functional abilities in a day hab setting. From assessing motor skills and sensory processing to guiding adaptive equipment and assistive technology, your expertise will empower those we serve to achieve their best quality of life. You'll collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams, providing essential training and support to staff and caregivers. Plus, you'll oversee and supervise OT staff across multiple settings, ensuring top-notch care and compliance. Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited OT program and NYS licensure or eligibility - Strong knowledge of OT evaluation, treatment modalities, and assistive technology - Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (Microsoft Word) - Ability to demonstrate physical transfer techniques and utilize mobility devices safely - Willingness to travel within boroughs and oversee team members as needed Ideal Candidate Attributes: - Compassionate and patient-centered with a passion for empowering others - Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills - Detail-oriented and organized in documentation and treatment planning - Committed to ongoing learning and professional growth *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
