The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Leave of AbsenceAdministrator to join our team in Mesa, AZ.

The Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administrator. This role involves managing certain aspects of the relationship with the third-party administrator, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the leave process. The Leave of Absence Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient leave management process.

Position Responsibilities:

Oversee the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administratorWorks with the third-party administrator, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution of issues, and adherence to service level agreementsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable lawsCollaborate with the third-party administrator to review and evaluate leave requests, including medical certifications and other supporting documentation, to determine eligibility and appropriateness of leaveCoordinate and communicate leave approvals, denials, and extensions to employees and managers in a timely manner when escalatedEnsure third-party administrator is providing proper guidance and support to employees and managers on leave-related policies, procedures, and benefitsCollaborate with HR Business Partners, Benefits team, Payroll, Compensation Policy, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of leave management processesConduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with leave policies and proceduresStay informed about changes in leave laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholdersParticipate in the development and implementation of leave-related policies, procedures, and training programsMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in leave administration or a related HR roleExperience with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including FMLA and ADAExperience communicating with and the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organizationExperience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretionExperience with HRIS and leave management systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $81,600 - $120,000
