The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist (Level 3) located in Everett, WA. This position will be part of the Integrated Planning and Scheduling team supporting KC-46 Pegasus aerial refueling tanker.
As an Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) team member, you will be required to develop proposal plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) Format 6 and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) deliverables.
You will participate in all aspects of IP&S activities and execute the following to provide actionable, value-added products to their customers:
Program Planning – Develop initial planning products (e.g. IMP, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Master Phasing Schedule, High-Level Flows)Program Scheduling – Develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)Detailed Scheduling & Change Management – Develop and maintain lower-level schedulesChange Integration – Manage the change integration teamsProject Management – Lead key program initiatives to improve execution.Position Responsibilities:
In charge of the program IMS and serve as the schedule lead for the Integrated Product team in developing, integrating, and maintaining the IMS reporting to the Program Management teamWork closely with Integrated Product Team Leads, IP&S team, and program leadership to ensure alignment and integration of the IMS with other key program plans and schedules such as the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Master Phasing Plan, Critical Path Analysis, High-Level Flow (HLF) and detailed schedules below the IMSSupports program planning requests for the development of new and derivative products. Leads, directs, facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners.Accountable for schedule compliance, assessment of schedule risk, identification of opportunities (including schedule margin planning), and providing robust/actionable performance reporting from the IMS to support and drive program management understanding and actionLead integration of supplier and partner plans and schedules into the IMS to ensure the whole team is operating to the same rhythm and prioritiesModel driving program execution through quick turn generation of prospective schedule performance analyses, recovery/alternate scenario planning, and improved schedule visibility/visualization.Provides coaching, mentoring and leadership to lower level employees.Provides subject matter expertise in the development, implementation and training of processes and tools.The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal communicationThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ year of experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.1+ year of experience integrating supplier or partner plans and schedules into the Program schedule and managing the Integrated Master Schedule at the Program levelExperience with execution of program planning to include cost, schedule and technical baselinesExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) applying Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirementsExperience in creating integrated schedules encompassing design, manufacturing, equipment and resource requirementsRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
