Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Government & Capital Property Specialist to join the Space and Launch Property Management team in Kennedy Space Center, FL!

Position Responsibilities:

Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of propertyPerforms audits, documents processes and procedures and investigates and reports lost or damaged propertyProvides support, expertise, concepts and formats to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish a property record for company or government propertyMaintains accountability from initial acquisition to final dispositionTracks the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policyDetermines property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligationsEnsures that property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirementsCoordinates the physical inventory of property (assets and material) and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulationsVerifies that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizationsConfirms that work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards Reviews records for accuracy and reviews processes for compliance to established procedures and guidelinesParticipates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and proceduresHandles disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements in accordance with proceduresCompletes all property related activities at completion or termination of contract including disposition of propertyEnsures all inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues are resolvedParticipates in the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures

This position is hybrid, however, this may change at any time at the manager’s discretion.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years’ experience in Property Management3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higherNational Property Management Association (NPMA) CertificationPrior experience with a Government Property Record systemKnowledge of FAR and NASA FAR Supplement Property ClausesExperience with Gold systemData analysis experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDatabase entry and data analysis skillsSkilled at managing multiple priorities and tasksStrong customer interface skills and experience to maintain customer satisfaction (both internal and external customers)

Additional Information:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $73,950 – $101,790
