The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Enterprise Attendance Focal to join our team in Everett, WA.
The Enterprise Attendance Focal is the primary SME for attendance policies, systems, management, and training across the enterprise. This role ensures consistent interpretation and application of attendance policy, maintains and configures attendance systems and workflows, produces operational metrics, and develops and delivers training and guidance to HR partners, managers and employees. The incumbent partners with HR Business Partners, IT, Payroll, Benefits, Compliance and vendors to ensure attendance programs are compliant, operationally efficient and integrated with HR systems and processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as the enterprise SME for creating and maintaining attendance policy, procedures and business rules; provide authoritative interpretation and timely guidance to HR, managers and employeesIn conjunction with IT, maintain and configure attendance system settings, workflows and business rules in the enterprise attendance systems and ensure alignment with policy and payrollDevelop and deliver training, job aids and communications for HR, managers, and employees on attendance policy, system use and management best practicesPartner with HR Business Partners, Payroll, IT, Legal and Compensation Policy to align attendance processes with broader programs and ensure regulatory and policy complianceSupport system enhancements and integrations related to attendance (requirements definition, testing, UAT support, data validation and deployment coordination) in collaboration with IT and vendorsMonitor attendance program performance and run regular reporting and dashboards (absence rates, exceptions, compliance metrics); analyze trends and recommend process improvementsConduct periodic audits and quality checks of attendance transactions and system configurations to ensure policy adherence and data integrity; recommend corrective actions.Provide guidance and coaching to managers on leave/attendance management, documentation standards and escalation pathsAct as a point of escalation for complex attendance cases and collaborate with Leave of Absence, HR, Benefits, and Legal teams as neededMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local attendance-related regulations and incorporate regulatory changes into policy, systems and trainingSupport project workstreams to implement attendance program changes and contribute SME input to larger enterprise deploymentsMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretionTravel up to 20% to other domestic Boeing sites to meet business needsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in attendance or leave administration, HRIS/time systems administration, or an HR operations roleExperience with federal, state and local laws related to attendance and leave (including FMLA and ADA intersections) and ability to apply them to policy and system rulesExperience with attendance/timekeeping systems and HRIS integrations; comfortable configuring business rules and troubleshooting system issues.Experience developing and delivering training, job aids and communications to multiple audiences.Experience producing operational metrics and dashboards, and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.Experience using verbal and written communication skills to influence managers and cross‑functional partners.Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalismExperience with standard office tools and reporting/query tools including but not limited to: Excel, Tableau, etc.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or related fieldDetail oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication, stakeholder management and training delivery skills; ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and front‑line managersDrug Free Workplace:
