Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Electrical Workplace Coach to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

In this role, you will be critical in the effort to reduce rework, improve first time quality, promote safety and initiate process improvement across all Aircraft Programs at the San Antonio site. Your aircraft and electrical expertise will be instrumental in building a strong versatile work force that will bolster production.

Position Responsibilities:

Learn and develop employees in all electrical and avionics-based aircraft skillsExperience with major electrical aircraft modifications and be able to articulate, teach, and coach detailed operations therein to include but not limited to the following: sealing, wrapping, bonding, soldering, tying, crimping, terminations, and the closure of wire harnesses, shielded wires, coaxial cables, cable routing/assembly, and fiber optic wiringLead and coach employees on detailed electrical operations, testing, referencing, and all the associated process specifications.Ability to operate and coach the proper usage of electrical test equipment to include but not limited to the following: TDRs, light loss testers, Milli-Ohm Meters, DMMs, and OscilloscopesDemonstrate/coach how to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repairReport out to Site and Senior LeadershipAble to work with minimal oversight and deliver positive results, while adhering to all Safety and FOD Pro’s and Processes.Strong interpersonal skills in a teaching/coaching environment
 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience with modification experience at an airline or an MRO10+ years of experience with electrical/cable assembly/electronic troubleshooting, terminations, routing, splicing, connectors, bundle dressing, etc.10+ years of experience as a proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills10+ years of experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints5+ years of experience with Avionics equipment and avionics troubleshootingAbility to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of aircraft Avionics experience on a minimum of 2 aircraft platformsAbility to deliver information verbally in one on one or group settingsAbility to learn and teach multiple platformsKnowledge of QMS and assist in root cause corrective actions for any quality defects

Summary Starting Pay Range: $79,050 - $93,000
