Your Job

Define, oversee and coordinate engineering and construction activities as a subject matter expert for electrical power generation including co-generation power plants and distribution

Work with the operations and maintenance team and ensure constant uptime of all electrical systems by coordinating any project and system improvement activities 

Provide engineering support of all electrical systems providing technical direction to engineers, technicians, and contractors in support of the construction and operation of company electrical systems 

Review and update existing site electrical documents including specifications, basis of design.

Develop site electrical basis of design and specifications.

Interface closely with design and engineering teams to ensure projects meet operational electrical needs, secure maintainability of electrical systems, and ensure smooth commissioning and startups of electrical systems that are seamless to fab operations 

Explore ways to control and improve costs while maintaining the operational requirements by EVC / FAC operations 

Manage and execute electrical projects that encompass all phases of the project, from scope development to close-out 

Perform all activities in a safe ad and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs 

Provide electrical system support to Fab equipment modules and facilities teams such as the mechanical, process chems and gases, ultra-pure water, etc.  

Ensure regulatory compliance with all city, state, and federal guidelines and regulations

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline  

minimum 7, ideally 10+ years relevant work experience  

Have experience in the engineering, installation, operation, commissioning and maintenance of low, medium, and high voltage electrical equipment and distribution systems and co-generation power plants

Brownfield projects experience

Ability to effectively interface with functional teams, customers, contractors, and suppliers 

Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs 

Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 5% annually). 

Language Fluency – German and English (Written & Verbal: C1)
