Boeing Air Dominance is seeking an ExperiencedCommunications and Network Engineer to support a Fixed Wing Proprietary Program to join our team located in Berkeley, MO.
You will be joining a fast-paced Air Dominance program where you will be responsible for the design, integration, and testing of Command and Control (C2) Ground System capabilities for advanced mission planning and debrief systems. The selected candidate will lead the development, analysis, integration and test of engineering solutions and practices for key Ground System capabilities including, but not limited to:
Voice CommunicationsLine of Sight CommunicationsTactical C2 Data LinksSatellite Communications SystemsThe Selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of complex Command and Control (C2) communication systems. Your expertise in electrical engineering and C2 systems will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, performance, and functionality of our communication systems.
In this role, you will be joining a cross-functional team integrating next generation capabilities as part of an exciting and critically important development effort. You will have the opportunity to operate in an agile development environment, mature our products through the development lifecycle, work on next generation open-architecture model-based designs, and collaborate across multiple disciplines.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the design and integration of commercially available networking and communication devices to develop C2 systems that can be deployed to main operating base and austere locationsDevelop and maintain hardware documentation, including schematics, layouts, and test plansPerform thorough testing and validation of hardware solutions to ensure reliability and performanceTroubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and deployment phasesConduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for hardware selectionIntegration and Testing of the ground systems architecture across venues (i.e. Desktop Test, Mixed Fidelity Labs, System Integration Labs, etc.)Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to document designs and provide traceability to project requirementsWorking across program stakeholders and subject matter experts in various engineering disciplines (Operational Analysis, Software Engineering, Mission Systems Hardware/Software, Flight Simulation, etc.)Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Berkeley MO facility.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science(Level 4)9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with commercial and military communication systems.Experience in interdisciplinary engineering planning, design, development, integration, and validation and verification of avionics and/or electronics including hardware and softwareExperience developing products in an Agile development environmentExperience developing Avionics products and technologiesTypical Education/Experience:
Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Experienced (Level 4): $119,850 - 162,150
