The Boeing Company is currently hiring an Experienced Contract Management Specialist to join the C-17 Sustainment Program and Presidential Aircraft Program supporting the team in San Antonio, Texas.  Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will join the program team responsible for supporting the maintenance and ongoing development of the fleet of 275 airplanes across the United States Air Force fleet and eight foreign partner countries!  Additionally, this position may be asked to support the design and delivery of two airplanes for the future Presidential Aircraft Program.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Position Responsibilities:

Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, and manages formal customer correspondenceLeads cross-functional proposal development and contract negotiation effortsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partnersExercises commitment/signature authority to negotiate and contract for the development or sale of high-performance defense and aerospace productsAdministers and interprets complex contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycleReviews and analyzes contractual terms and conditions, Performance Work Statements (PWS) and ground rules and assumptionsAnalyzes relevant business risks and develops mitigation solutions for review and implementationDevelops transaction review and approval documentation, leads briefings/reviews and obtains required approvals from senior level management

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher3+ years of experience with government contracts3+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite3+ years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers3+ years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)Experience in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $78,200 – $105,800
