Role Overview
As an Experienced Associate, you will be part of a team of problem solvers addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific Responsibilities
Proactively managing multiple clients while reporting to senior team members.Coaching and leading junior staff.Establishing effective relationships with external stakeholders.Enhancing personal and team technical acumen.Staying informed on local and national business and economic issues.Participating in business development to identify and research new opportunities.Developing internal relationships and strengthening your PwC brand.Job Description
Collaborating on financial and operational due diligence, transaction support, and value capture analysis.Leading planning, data requests, management discussions, client workshops, and deliverables.Identifying potential deal breakers and opportunities in transactions.Recognizing post-deal issues such as capital expenditures, run-rate costs, and transition services.Supporting business development initiatives.Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or Mathematics.MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.1–2 years of relevant experience in external audit, corporate finance, financial reporting, or transaction support.ACCA or CFA candidacy/membership is an advantage.Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.Strong written and verbal communication skills in Kazakh, English and Russian.Can-do’ attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.Capability to synthesize large volumes of information and develop innovative solutions.Adaptability, project management skills, and readiness to take on responsibility.Professional and mature client and colleague interactions.Strong work ethic, integrity, and judgment.Intellectual curiosity and proactive attitude.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and AI/GenAI tools.
