The Capital Structure Advisory Group offers an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of collaborative teams on major liability management, in-court restructuring, financing and other strategic advisory assignments. Our Analysts play an integral role throughout the life of a transaction and have meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives. Given this highly visible role and the complex nature of financial restructuring assignments, Analysts will have the opportunity to develop a broad set of analytical, and communication skills.

Essential Job Functions
Key deal team member for execution of a broad range of advisory and financing transactions; expected to interact with senior bankers, clients, and other advisors during drafting/working/negotiating sessionsDevelop and maintain complex financial models and detailed valuation analysesPerform due diligence of companies, including generating and managing financial and operational diligence requests, conducting tours of company premises and operations, and discussing diligence questions with management and employeesAnalyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and company-specific information (including liquidity, financial metrics, capital structure and credit documents) in order to identify potential client solutionsAnalyze current and past accounting and financial records in order to advise clients through financial projections preparation; prepare, review and participate in client presentationsIntegrate strategic ideas derived from various analyses, forecasts, business plans, and research into presentations for various stakeholdersHelp prepare and contribute to deal pitches including idea generation and identify, research, and analyze restructuring and financing opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund or corporate finance is a plus Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with company executives and senior management Highly organized, with the initiative and ability to work with limited supervision Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills Effective process management abilitiesBasic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Investment Banking experienceRequires a minimum of a Bachelor's degreeCore modeling and valuation experience in professional settingWork Location
Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.Salary
Annual base salary between $110,000 and $135,000.The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.About Us:
