Job responsibilities
Solve problems. Concept and execute elegant design solutions, that respond to both user needs and business goals.Conduct discovery and user research. Synthesize insights, document and communicate findings, and iterate designs based on feedback.Create click-through prototypes, presentations, and storyboards to showcase product vision and get buy-in from key stakeholders. Apply strong knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and data-driven analysis to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, subject matter experts, copywriters, legal, and executive leaders.Leverage and inform a firmwide design system, ensuring consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices.Incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility guidelines to ensure our products and services cater to a diverse range of users.Maintain awareness of market trends, user behaviours, and Figma capabilities, to inform design decisions and work efficiently.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
4+ years of experience in design or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and servicesBachelor's degree or higher in User Experience (UX) Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related fields Experience in the application of design systems such as Google’s Material DesignProven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g. Figma)Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channelsPrevious experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-makingFamiliarity of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences
