Experience Design Senior Associate - CDAO Fusion

Contribute to innovative experience design, blending user needs with business goals in the dynamic environment of financial services.  

As an Experience Design Senior Associate in the Chief Data & Analytics Office Fusion Team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we provide data and analytics solutions to our clients. You will combine creative design skills with content and go-to-market expertise to shape how Fusion is communicated and experienced across all touchpoints. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that cater to a diverse range of users. As a core contributor, aligning user needs with business goals. Your strong understanding of the financial services industry and JPMC's IT systems will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings, navigating complex problems, and driving strategic thinking. Your impact will be significant in the design, architecture, and functionality of our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.  

Job responsibilities  

Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems and ensure consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices   Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, findability, and overall user satisfaction   Conduct data-driven analyses to inform design decisions and use data to transform raw information into valuable insights to inform decision-making   Operate with an iterative design mindset and incorporate user feedback and insights to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings   Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking   Develop messaging frameworks and positioning for Fusion’s platform. Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives tailored for different client segments.  Create high-impact diagrams, visuals, and illustrations using Figma for campaigns, product marketing activities, and the website. Translate data and technology concepts into engaging visual stories.  Design compelling, easy-to-understand pitchbooks that simplify complex concepts. Work closely with the Sales Enablement team to build foundational client decks.  Produce short demo videos and motion graphics using Camtasia and After Effects to showcase product capabilities and use cases.  Develop and support digital campaigns with cohesive design and content across web, social media, and events. Collaborate with firmwide CIB Marketing to implement and measure campaign effectiveness.  Contribute to Fusion’s website design, structure, and updates, enhancing its role as a lead client conversion and engagement tool. 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

3+ years in a user experience design, product design, or interaction design, ideally within a SaaS, fintech, or data/analytics platform environment.  Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, PowerPoint, Camtasia, or Adobe Creative Suite)   Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels   Previous experience interpreting complex data and transforming it into actionable insights for informed decision-making   Proficient understanding of inclusive design principles, accessibility guidelines, and assistive technologies, with a history of creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences   Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, illustration, or design work across product, marketing, or educational materials.  Ability to distill complex, abstract concepts into clear, visually impactful diagrams and narratives for both technical and executive audiences.  Proven experience developing and delivering high-quality pitchbooks, explainer videos, and marketing collateral with minimal oversight.  Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.  Passionate about design, technology, and the intersection of data and storytelling.  

                Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills  

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Tableau, or related tools is a plus.
