Join us and let us focus together on what’s truly important: making lives better with new ideas and the latest technology around the world.Position SummaryThe main responsibility of the EMiP is the direct interface between the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) activities, the Subcontractors and the Project Execution Team. Hereby the EMiP also covers aspects of Quality Assurance and Logistics. The EMiP reports directly to the PM. Main ResponsibilitiesThe tasks in details are, but not limited to: Preparing internal metrics for project controlling as well as compiling all essential information to deliver qualified reporting (e.g. for project team, procurement) Follow and ensure the planning, coordinating and controlling the logistics activities of the subcontractors (including capacities, time schedules, cost calculation, technology, risk analysis) Preparing the necessary documentation and ensuring the documentation flow with the subcontractors Passing on information about the status of processing and any divergences (e.g. by status reports, schedules, goods handover reports) Ensure receipt of supplier documentation / coordinates the document flow with subcontractors Prepare supplier reports Create delivery plans, progress reports, production schedules, and support for declared items Defining communication matrix with the subcontractors Expedite all equipment and materials from the main office Perform supplier manufacturing progress inspections Validate progress for milestone releases, thus enabling supplier invoicing and conducting forecast Organize supplier inspection visits and start-up meetingsQualifications: Academic Background: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial EngineeringExperience: 8 years in cost controls with construction projectsFluent EnglishAvailability to travelVisit to suppliersEqual Employment Opportunity Statement Siemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
