Job Summary:
The Risk Advisory Services (RAS) Analytics and Innovation Experienced Senior Associate is responsible for providing hands on technology support for Regulatory Compliance and Internal Audit project engagements as well as internal Innovation initiatives.
The Experienced Senior Associate handles client projects that require proficiency in Regulatory Compliance processes (SOX 404, Internal Audit etc.) and proficiency in the use of digital tools such as Data Analytics and Automation. This role works towards identifying process improvement opportunities with Compliance processes and developing digital solutions to support Operational Audits, Risk Assessments, Control Testing, and Continuous Monitoring to drive efficiencies and help clients gain data-driven insights into new and emerging risks.
The Experienced Senior Associate also assists in the tactical execution of various RAS Innovation initiatives. This role will work closely with the rest of the Innovation team members and local RAS teams to develop digital risk solutions based on Data Analytics, Automation, and other emerging technologies.
Job Duties:
Supports a team that drives client discussions to identify process improvement opportunities with Compliance and Internal Audit processes Designs and develops digital solutions based on Data Analytics and Automaton technology Manages a team of junior onshore and offshore professionals and delegates work assignments as needed Participates in the review and design of internal controls over financial reporting based on Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements Uses Analytics to tech-enable operational and business audits Leverages workflow automation technology to automate SOX control execution and testing procedures Identifies key risks and uses Analytics to assess their impact and likeliness of occurrence Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings Acts as primary client contact for all questions and issues Develops and maintains relationships with client personnel Administers project plans for client engagements Maintains solution development lifecycle plans Adapts quickly to new digital tools Implements project plans Other duties, as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises the day-to-day workload of Risk Advisory Services Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product Delivers periodic performance feedback and completes performance evaluations for Risk Advisory Services Associates Manages offshore RAS team to enable quality project delivery and promote team growth Acts as mentor to Risk Advisory Services Associates and Seniors, as appropriateQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems, requiredExperience:
Four (4) or more years of combined Data Analytics, Risk & Regulatory, and Innovation related experience, required Experience working in the accounting, financial consulting, business advisory, and/or professional services, preferred Experience working with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools such as Workiva and AuditBoard, preferred Prior experience with internal controls including flowcharts, documentation, and testing of controls, preferred Experience in the following areas, required: Data Analytics and Visualization RPA and Workflow Automation Experience in one (1) or more of the following areas, preferred: Database Development Application Development Artificial Intelligence Machine LearningLicense/Certifications:
