Our Graduate Exercise Physiologist role is structured to offer exposure to a wide range of clinical settings, professional development supports, and training through a supported induction process. We will provide you with an onsite supervisor to support your journey and a genuine caring management team.

You will work closely with senior practitioners and develop skills necessary for long-term success in the healthcare industry with graduate specific support.
We have a team of over 90 staff across both campuses in Sinnamon Park and Chermside. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Dietetics, Podiatry, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing and more!

Your Role as Exercise Physiologist
You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by:
Provide high level exercise physiotherapy services to customers presenting with a wide range of disability and functional needs
Deliver individual and group services, balancing direct treatment with supervised therapy to enhance the customer experience
Work across services and sites within WMQ dependent upon service requirements.
Complete accurate assessment and review of physical needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service for a range of activities to a wide range of customers.
Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required.
Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.
Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning.
Ensure that positive and professional relationships and rapport are developed and maintained with customers.
You’ll be primarily based at our Sinnamon Park or Chermside centres, with opportunities to work across other sites depending on client needs.
What We’re Looking For
Relevant qualifications in Exercise Physiologist
Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science-Australia (ESSA)
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with staff, clients, and families
Exceptional communication skills and a focus on patient-centred care
Essential Requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
