All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift:** Days **Location:** 500 REMINGTON BLVD, Bolingbrook, 60440 **The role you'll contribute:** Implements and supervises physical exercise programs for patients. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Coordinates exercise program including referral proceedings, scheduling, program planning, and exercise supervision to achieve the goals of the department + Engages in ongoing professional development and promotes a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice + Maintains patient/client safety by explaining and demonstrating correct exercise technique and equipment use, closely supervising all activities and discontinuing patients exercise if the condition warrants + Meets department productivity standard defined by the department + Communicates and documents patient information effectively + Performs and interprets the results of physiological assessment accurately, recognizing high-risk individuals and designing/referring appropriate exercise prescription + Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients using test data, patient status, and current medication regimen. + Monitors patients' response to therapy and revises plans accordingly. + Provides exercise information for patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and education classes. + Ensures department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning correctly. + Participates in interdisciplinary committees, Performance Improvement activities, staff and student development + Other duties as assigned.
