This isn’t a role for the purely theoretical. We’re looking for someone who thinks like a **Chief Strategy Officer** , moves like a **Chief Innovation Officer** , and delivers like a **Chief Transformation Officer** . Someone who is as comfortable unlocking white space and shaping enterprise-wide POVs as they are in translating ideas into roadmaps, frameworks, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate connects aspiration to application—balancing future-forward thinking with a clear understanding of how to activate change in a real business, with real deliverables, under real pressure. **Responsibilities** **Enterprise Planning & Orchestration** + Lead the shift from siloed, reactive planning to a unified enterprise strategy spanning Local, Value, Core, and VBG. + Architect seasonal planning cadences and swim lanes that increase agility, optimize timing, and tie media to tangible business value. + Build enterprise-wide playbooks that align cross-functional teams around growth priorities and planning standardization. **Strategic Growth & Innovation Activation** + Identify white space and market shifts early—shaping jump-ball opportunities, emerging audience plays, and portfolio-wide innovation pilots. + Serve as the thought leader and provocateur for what’s next—bringing a strategic lens to emerging tech, new partners, and evolving audience behaviors. + Translate signal into strategy: build momentum through quarterly strategies that stay 1+ quarter ahead of business needs. **Data-Informed Decisioning & Measurement Leadership** + Champion a measurement ecosystem that moves beyond reporting—fueling next-best dollar decisioning and insight-driven learning loops. + Evolve tools like Growth Levers and Money-ball into frameworks that power real-time business guidance. + Lead alignment on enterprise learning agendas and ensure shared access to actionable, comparative insights across all LoBs. **Executive Leadership & Strategic Integration** + Act as the integrator across strategy, investment, analytics, content, and operations—sequencing efforts, removing friction, and ensuring enterprise cohesion. + Partner directly with the Verizon ELT and senior agency leadership to align planning strategy with brand priorities and long-term business outcomes. + Represent “Team Tomorrow” in senior forums and key planning events—driving visibility, influence, and accountability. **Mindset & Ethos** + **Visionary yet Grounded** – You think beyond the brief, but always bring ideas back to practical business impact. + **Architect of the Unknown** – You bring clarity to ambiguity and structure to innovation. + **Inspiring in Uncertainty** – You guide teams through change with empathy, energy, and adaptability. + **Owner Mentality** – You don’t just recommend; you commit, deliver, and raise the bar. **Success Measures** + Planning frameworks adopted enterprise-wide with measurable efficiency and alignment gains. + Innovation pilots activated and scaled with clear links to business performance and media ROI. + Enterprise measurement strategy coordinated across lines of business, influencing decisions and investment. + Increased momentum, visibility, and internal credibility of _Team Tomorrow_ as Verizon’s future-making engine. + High team engagement, retention, and cross-functional collaboration. **Why This Role Matters** This is Verizon Media’s bet on the future. _Team Tomorrow_ isn’t a concept—it’s a mandate. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
