The resort features over 20 curated restaurants and lounges, the traditional Souk Madinat Jumeirah, dedicated kids’ clubs and some of the region’s most versatile event and conference spaces. **About the Job:** An opportunity has arisen for an **Executive Sous Chef** in **Jumeirah Al Qasr** . The main duties and responsibilities of this role: + Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, supporting the Executive Chef in leading the culinary team to maintain a collaborative and efficient work environment. + Foster strong interdepartmental cooperation through regular communication to ensure smooth and cohesive outlet operations. + Participate in menu development and recipe standardization to ensure consistency in food quality and alignment with guest preferences and market trends. + Monitor food quality across outlets and events, suggesting improvements in methods, equipment, and presentation to enhance the guest experience. + Uphold safety, hygiene, and fire prevention standards, ensuring a clean and compliant kitchen environment. + Support the Executive Chef in driving creative culinary initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management. **About You:** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: + 10 years of international five-star hotel and restaurant experience, including managing large multi-outlet venues and progressing through various culinary roles. + Completion of a formal culinary education program from a recognized institution, such as a culinary arts degree or diploma. + Proven expertise in a wide range of cooking techniques and cuisines. + Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring kitchen staff. + Experience in menu planning and development, showcasing creativity and innovation while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency. **About the Benefits:** We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
