A new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Executive / Senior Executive, Order Management to join our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand. In this role, you will support end-to-end order execution activities for mtu products, ensuring seamless coordination between internal stakeholders, suppliers, factories, and customers to fulfill contractual obligations with precision and professionalism.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities

Order Execution & Coordination

Manage internal and external coordination across departments (sales, engineering, finance, logistics, etc.) to fulfill sales contracts.Create shared order folders and manage sales handovers; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.Create and track purchase orders in SAP for engine orders.Ensure orders are executed in accordance with contract terms, scope, deadlines, and cost commitments.Liaise with Finance for down payments, stage payments, and bank/performance guarantees.

Shipment & Logistics

Create engine/genset serial and batch numbers in SAP to facilitate warehouse receipt.Coordinate with warehouse for physical goods receipt and documentation.Follow up with central purchasing and suppliers for timely delivery of third-party goods.Chase for secured payments (TT, LC) prior to delivery; coordinate with Sales as needed.Prepare and issue shipping instructions, coordinate with customer, factory, and logistics providers for dispatch.Coordinate vessel/air shipment bookings, customs documentation (e.g., K1), and compliance with local requirements.

Documentation & Compliance

Draft, verify, and maintain shipping documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.Verify vendor/factory invoices and delivery notes; follow up on discrepancies.Prepare LC documentation and liaise with Finance for submission and tracking.Support in handling short-shipped or missing part claims with customers post-delivery.Manage registrations with local government and statutory agencies (e.g., CIDB, SSM, Sirim).

Administrative Support

Manage office operations including procurement of supplies, IT equipment, furniture, and services.Track and report admin-related expenses; ensure compliance with budget.Maintain organized digital and physical documentation in line with statutory and regulatory standards.Support special assignments and other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.Minimum 1 year of experience in order management, preferably in engineered solutions or diesel engine/generator industries.Experience in backup power/data center projects is advantageous.Strong knowledge of SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Thai is essential.High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work across diverse teams and geographies.Capable of handling high-pressure situations and multi-tasking effectively.Willingness to travel as required.
