Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

To ensure the security system. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Distribute the duty among the Shift Security Lead and will ensure that all guards report for duty as per the shift. Check and ensure the guards discipline, properly dressed during the duty time. He will keep contact with the authority on security matters and will keep Security head posted on all matters on daily basis.He will especially ensure that all specified checking procedures especially at the main entrance are being practiced correctly.He will be responsible to maintain all routine administrative matter pertaining to Shift security lead, Guards such as leave, roster, guard manpower state and salary.To ensure proper night duty and to ensure proper response in emergency situations.   He will be responsible for guard training on fire & safety, access control, bomb threat, training on search, first aid, theft & prevention etc. Maintain close liaison with security service providers for service improvement.Assist Country Security Manager to develop and execute security plans and business-aligned security measures and procedures to meet Avery Dennison Bangladesh business objectives ensuring compliance.Supervise, recruit, train and check the background of the security personnel. Ensure all the security  related tools are operational.Monitor activities of security personnel on workday, weekend and holidays..Ensure 24/7 uninterrupted CCTV monitoring. Ensure continuous patrolling and monitoring the security around the office premises.Develop work schedule, allocating tasks, and monitor security personnel performance. Produce necessary reports, records, and documents to the Country Security Manager  from time to time.

 

QualificationsExtensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.Excellent management and supervisory skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.Ability to work with confidential and classified information.Good knowledge on computer skills.Bachelor/Master’s degree in discipline from any reputed University. Minimum five years of related security experience required.Preferably from a defense background.
