Your New Role
WB Games Inc. seeks an Executive Producer to lead the production team as they help coordinate the development of a unannounced project. This individual will be responsible for managing the overall product budget, schedule, and quality of delivery in conjunction with the studio leadership team. The Executive Producer will act as the primary communication hub for the project and will work in collaboration with the other studio directors to deliver on the creative vision established by the Studio Creative Director.

The ideal candidate has acted in an Executive Production or Production Director role on at least one other project that was a significant critical and/or commercial success, preferably one that was a new development game that this candidate managed from inception to completion.

Your Role Accountabilities

In conjunction with the heads of other disciplines, drive creative problem solving across multiple disciplines to address the complex problems that develop during the day-to-day of AAA game development.Train, mentor, and lead the Production team (made up of several producers, some of whom may be themselves managing more junior producers) as they implement the established development plan.Work closely with the creative departments in shaping the arc of the game to ensure it meets established quality parameters while remaining on schedule and on budget.Communicate clearly and often to all groups, both in the publishing arm and within the studio development team, to ensure transparency in the development process across all relevant groups.Stay on top of the project as it develops, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, evaluating and confirming (or reconsidering) early assumptions as the project evolves, and ensuring transparency across all arms of the studio and publishing group.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 12 years of game industry experience with at least 7 or more in a production leadership role.Proven leader who has an established track record of team management and motivation that has delivered on established expectations.Must have mastery of project management principles including project scoping, budget development, scheduling and tracking, communication, risk management, and quality management.Outstanding skills as a people manager, with integrity and principled leadership that is demonstrable from previous experience.Deep understanding of the game industry and landscape.Excellent organizational skills and work prioritization skills, and the ability to teach those to others.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $161,000.00 - $299,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
