The Executive Producer supervises news content across all media platforms for a specific daypart. + Oversee the editorial process for stories in multiple newscasts and digital platforms + Manage team of producers and productions of newscasts + Define strategic direction for content coverage to meet editorial objectives + Approve stories and scripts in newscasts + Work with Reporters and Anchors in developing stories and social media presence + Lead team in breaking news situations + Work on special projects as assigned + Recruit, hire and schedule producers along with other Executive Producers + Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all platforms + Collaborate with Marketing Department on the daily execution of news promos Requirements & Skills : + Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/film or the equivalent + At least 5 years’ experience in television or radio broadcast/production + Must be able to interact well with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staff + Detail oriented + Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills + Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations + Utilize state-of-the-art television technology Nexstar Media Group, Inc.
