Executive Office Engineering

The EO Engineering team is responsible for applications and services which serve our clients and employees. We enable the Executive Office to share executive direction with our people, describe our business and culture, keep our teams connected to the firm, provide information and  increase productivity.

As a member of the EO Engineering team, you will be responsible for building and executing challenging projects across a number of initiatives. You will work with key stakeholders and other development teams to get requirements and convert them into deliverables. You will learn new technologies, working on constantly upgrading your skill-set and the products you work on to be at-par with the best in the industry. You will innovate and solve technical challenges in an effective manner that emphasizes a long-term vision.

This role enhances CRM Salesforce for Goldman Sachs' Executive Office. You will work with the team and other engineers to execute on our CRM priorities. You will use front-end and back-end technologies, leading a team to build features, automate processes, and integrate systems.

Develop a world-class CRM productParticipate in all software development lifecycle phases (SDLC): effort estimation, requirements gathering, design, development, review, testing, deploymentCreate solutions using Salesforce Lightning, Visual Force, Apex, CSS, and JavaScriptConduct technical process reviews and develop testing plansDefine product requirements and objectives with product managers and stakeholdersAddress production issues with support teamRESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, specifically Sales or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE)Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitationsKnowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, especially REST and SOAP APIsHands-on experience designing and developing Lightning Web ComponentsClear understanding of Salesforce access and sharing models, including Apex sharingExperience with Apex code, write Apex triggers, Apex classes, developing Visual Force pages, Visual Force controllers, and workflows/approval rules using custom codeAbility to understand data migration and integration requirements, analyze requirements, define and execute implementation plansExperience with relational databases such as SQL Server, DB2, SybaseStrong communication skills to be able to form relationships with stakeholders and break down functionality to a non-technical audienceExperience leading junior engineers

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's DegreeAbility to lead a team of both Salesforce and full-stack engineersExperience working with back-end and front-end technologies including Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/PythonExperience with or knowledge of distributed NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB or ElasticSearchSkilled at working effectively with cross functional teamsSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software developmentExcellent knowledge of Agile principles and practices and capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledgeUnderstanding of basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental developmentWorking knowledge of the software development process – design, development, test, and deployment
