The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotels. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1600 rooms, the four properties boast a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. We value the passion and enthusiasm of our colleagues and encourage you to share your passion when you work with us. **A little taste of your day-to-day:** + Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department across both hotels, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry services, and uniform management, while upholding luxury service expectations. + Oversee and conduct detailed inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, condition, and presentation are consistently aligned with brand standards. + Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team, creating a culture of excellence, precision, and service from the heart. Ensure each team member understands the importance of attention to detail, discreet presence, and proactive guest care. + Plan and manage staffing, scheduling, and manning based on occupancy, events, and seasonal demands to ensure optimal coverage, productivity, and service delivery without compromise. + Respond to guest requests and special preferences for VIPs, repeat guests, and IHG Rewards members with warmth and personalized touches—anticipating needs wherever possible, in line with Forbes standards of anticipatory service. + Maintain precise inventory control of linen, uniforms, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies—ensuring availability, managing cost-per-room efficiency, and supporting sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste. + Work closely with the Finance team to manage the departmental budget and implement cost-control strategies while maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and service consistency. + Drive and ensure strict compliance with IHG brand policies, internal standards, health and hygiene protocols, and service expectations, especially in areas like turndown, guestroom setup, and public area presentation. + Proactively address guest complaints and service gaps through immediate action and follow-up, reinforcing a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in guest satisfaction. + Collaborate cross-functionally, especially with Front Office and Engineering, to ensure seamless communication, room readiness, and operational excellence. **What we need from you:** + 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role within housekeeping operations, preferably in a 5-star hotel environment with an inventory of 500+ rooms. + A Hospitality Management qualification or a related field is preferred. + Strong working knowledge of housekeeping systems, operational procedures, and brand standards. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS systems, ideally Opera. + Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a diverse and multicultural team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **What you can expect from us:** We give our people everything they need to succeed, from a competitive salary that rewards all your hard work to a wide range of benefits designed to help you live your best work life – including impressive room discounts and some of the best training in the business.
