About the Role 

As EGM – Infrastructure Delivery, you will be at the helm of one of Downer’s most strategic portfolios, driving commercial success, operational performance, and market leadership in civil infrastructure. This is a rare opportunity to influence the national infrastructure agenda, secure transformative projects, and lead a high-performing team through a period of bold growth and change. 

You will: 

Lead end-to-end delivery of civil infrastructure projects, integrating Engineering Technical Services, Digital Engineering, and New Business. 

Shape and execute long-term strategy aligned with Downer’s transformation agenda. 

Champion innovation, safety, and sustainability across all operations. 

Build strategic relationships with clients, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders. 

Drive financial performance, governance, and market expansion.

Strategic Leadership & Governance: Align business strategy with national priorities and Downer’s enterprise goals. 

Operational Excellence: Deliver high-quality outcomes across diverse infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Bring 

10+ years in senior general management, ideally within infrastructure engineering, construction, or maintenance. 

Proven success in leading large-scale capital projects and managing complex P&L portfolios. 

Tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, operations, or finance. 

Gravitas, resilience, and a performance mindset. 

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and people leadership capabilities.
