Executive Director - Product Management

The Executive Director, Technology Product Management for Payor and Life Sciences plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of Payor Care Management product portfolio. They are responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable technology solutions across the Care Management product lines that meet customer needs and achieve business objectives. They facilitate a cross-functional product leadership team, closely with senior business leadership, technology and analytics partners, and other needed stakeholders, to ensure strategic alignment and a collaborative, customer-centric culture. They will lead a team of product management professionals and is responsible for advancing the product mindset, building a high-performing team, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization. **Responsibilities:** **Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps** • Defines clear visions, strategies, and roadmaps for Payor and Life Sciences technology that align to the business vision and objectives • Prioritizes investments and develops business cases in partnership with business, and finance partners • Ensures business strategies and targeted outcomes are well understood and socialized to product teams • Aligns roadmaps, backlogs, capacity, timelines, and commitments across the respective product areas needed to deliver **Trend Monitoring and Product Performance** • Sets and manages product line/portfolio objectives and key results (OKRs) to evaluate progress towards outcomes, aligned with business objectives • Accountable for successful new product launches; Oversees product launches, including beta testing, user feedback collection, and product documentation • Facilitates cross-functional product leadership team at the product line(s) level, including strong partnership with business GM • Understands market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs through partnership with business & customer insight teams **Cross-Functional Teaming and Stakeholder Management** • Ensures business strategies and targeted outcomes are well understood and socialized to product teams • Understands market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs through partnership with business & customer insight teams • Accountable for the technology product teams’ delivery and final output to stakeholders **Grow and Develop the Team** • Champions product and agile mindsets and values • Advances product management practices and implements product operations best practices which drive speed of execution and efficiency • Creates a customer-centric culture where all teams understand the current performance of the product, opportunities areas and the north star vision, and are monitoring and proactively reacting to key product health metrics and communicating updates • Builds a high-performing product team • Develops, mentors and coaches team members to enhance their skills and career growth **Required Qualifications:** The candidate will be a self-starter and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, and complex environment. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes: + 15+ years required experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years leading Product teams. + 12+ years of experience with the following: + Demonstrated success in building large-scale consumer-facing or B2B2C products + Experience with software development in an agile environment + Data-driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills + Ability to work closely with business owners and working closely with engineering leaders to deep dive into details to make ideas into reality + Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environment and drive alignment across cross functional teams + Advanced communication skills influencing stakeholders across all levels + Exceptional leader and team builder + Experience with the healthcare industry + Passion and deep knowledge for the digital healthcare ecosystem and how innovations can meaningfully increase engagement and enable individuals to live a healthier life and/or colleagues to be more productive, while simultaneously driving the company’s financial objectives **Education:** Bachelors degree required **Pay Range** The typical pay range for this role is: $175,100.00 - $334,750.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
