The Eddy, a nationally recognized non-profit provider of a comprehensive range of services for seniors and individuals with chronic illnesses, has a rewarding opportunity for an individual to serve as Executive Director of Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare Center - Clifton Park NY.

Located in the heart of Clifton Park, Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility offering Long Term Care, Rehabilitation and Memory Care.

As part of The Eddy with a history dating back to the early 1900’s. The Eddy has grown to include a full continuum of care: from home health, PACE, infusion pharmacy, DME and hospice, to independent retirement communities, assisted living, and memory care, Alzheimer’s Services, and seven long term care communities (two are Green House models). The Eddy has a long-standing reputation for innovation and is part of St. Peter’s Health Partners, and integrated healthcare system serving the greater Capital Region. SPHP includes a community hospital, tertiary care hospital, large medical group, and an inpatient rehab hospital.

The Executive Director of Schuyler Ridge Healthcare is responsible for quality of care for residents and families; leading, supporting, engaging and developing colleagues, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving financial performance. Has the unique opportunity to work with a team of Executive Directors across The Eddy, providing support and sharing best practices with each other. A wide range of resources are available to support this role including quality, safety, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and much more!

The Executive Director would oversee the adequacy and soundness and day to operations including:

Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the facility in accordance with current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.Lead responsibility for coordinating analysis, decisions relative to quality management and related clinical activities and operational tasks.Ensure the highest degree of quality care and quality of life is maintained and assure the patient's rights and dignity areReview quality assurance standards and ensure the services and outcomes being provided by the community are in step with specific goals and standards.Review operating results of Heritage House; compare them to agreed upon objectives, and recommends changes where appropriate.Direct the preparation and development of short and long range plans, set strategic and operational goals in concert with The Eddy.Assists colleagues in The Eddy Housing Division in developing policies and procedures with greater consistency and standardization.

Requirements

Must possess New York State Nursing Home Administrators license.Master's in Health Service Administration or equivalent (preferred).Minimum of 3 years of previous nursing home administrator or comparable experience long term care experience.Demonstrated ability for developing and monitoring annual budget and cost controls.Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $121,160.00 - $176,550.40 per year

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
