Responsibilities Plan, budget, and monitor operations to ensure financial stabilityManage operational progress toward accomplishing operational and strategic goalsEnsure that structure and systems promote interdisciplinary care and coordination among other departments and servicesDevelop and implement appropriate service policies and procedures to accomplish desired outcomesEvaluate hospice services and personnel using measurable outcomes and objectives, including monitoring service utilization to ensure delivery of comprehensive careEnsure adequate and appropriate staffing, direct staff in performance of their duties, and maintain effective channels of communicationProvide staff development, including orientation, continuing education, and quality assessment performance improvementEnsure organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements, including appropriate data collection and reporting Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required, Master’s degree preferred3+ years hospice leadership experienceAbility to educate, lead and inspire othersAbility to market and deal tactfully with customers and the communityExcellent observation, verbal and written communication skillsGrowth oriented, with knowledge or business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standardsCommitment to clinical documentation excellence and quality About our Line of Business At Abode Hospice and Home Health, our primary ambition is to bring first-class care to the warmest and most serene environment possible: home.
