To be responsible for The Methodist Hospitals Foundation operations and fundraising programs, directing, planning, organizing, overseeing and implementing the following: Annual Gift Program, Major Gift Program, Planned Giving Program, Fund Raising Initiatives and other aspects of the Fund Raising Pyramid. Works closely with the Health System CEO and Health System and Foundation Board of Directors in all fund raising endeavors.
ResponsibilitiesPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions)
Develops and implements the strategic plans of the hospital's foundation.Directs the Annual Gift Program.Directs the Major Gift Program, including identification, cultivation and solicitation of major donors.Directs capital campaigns and other major fundraising initiatives.Directs foundation grant programs, including research, proposal writing and reporting requirements.Interprets organization vision and goals to the community.Oversees foundation publications to support fund raising activities.Develops and administers administrative and program policies and procedures.Works closely with the Health System CEO and the Health System and Foundation Board of Directors in the development and execution of the hospitals mission and vision.Submits an annual budget in conjunction with the board Finance Committee for approval by the Foundation Board of Directors.Develops annual and strategic fund-raising goals to be executed and accomplished in conjunction with the Foundation Board of Directors and its Fund Raising Committee.Maintains and develops a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects, and establishes and supports Health System and Foundation Board Member prospect assignments.
