The Opportunity:
SNC, a division of CACI, is seeking an Executive Director to lead all product development responsibilities for the Archon platform—a secure communications portfolio, based on the NSA CSFC program, that is deployed across the DoD and Intelligence Community. This includes our industry-first, productized gateway, site–to–site connectivity solutions, secure end user devices (EUD), and accompanying management software.
This is not a traditional product role, and the Archon product line is the only solution design to operate at global scale. You are stepping into the cockpit of a warfighting platform that needs strong technical leadership to grow, evolve, and defend its ground. If you’ve led in uniform, built in industry, or supported the edge with your hands on the keyboard, this is the post for you.
We are looking for a warfighter-aligned innovator with the strategic clarity to define the future of tactical communications, the technical rigor to lead development across enclave boundaries, and the operational tempo to meet classified customer needs on time, every time.
Responsibilities:
Direct the product lifecycle across the entire Archon portfolio
Drive CSfC alignment and NSA compliance through disciplined technical and documentation practices
Translate operational requirements from deployed mission partners into executable roadmaps
Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and compliance teams to meet program milestones and Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements
Integrate cross-domain and multi-enclave components into hardened, field-ready solutions
Manage external vendor relationships, including OEMs, COTS partners, and key suppliers
Engage directly with customer programs, especially within Army, INDOPACOM, and other Combatant Commands
Spearhead automation efforts, from STIG compliance to deployment orchestration
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 10 years experience in secure communications, tactical networking, or DoD-aligned product development
Proven leadership in programs involving CSfC, NIAP, or NSA-accredited solutions
Deep knowledge of IPsec, firewall architecture, enclave segregation, and device hardening
Familiarity with Dell, Cisco, SonicWall, VMware, Aruba, and other infrastructure OEMs
Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and security disciplines
Strong understanding of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, including RMF and ATO processes
Executive-level communication skills with technical depth to brief customers, partners, and senior leadership
Active Secret clearance
Desired:
Prior service or direct support to combatant commands (J6, G6, JFHQ-DODIN, etc.)
Experience building products for forward-deployed, bandwidth-limited, or air-gapped environments
Familiarity with DoDIN APL, CCI/STIG libraries, and asset tracking requirements
Past participation in NSA CSfC registration and test annex execution
Active TS with SCI eligibility
