Job DescriptionNCR is committed to establishing and maintaining an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program to support achieving the Company’s strategic objectives and corporate governance responsibilities.  The company recognizes that effective risk management is a core management practice and is integral to making decisions with sufficient information regarding applicable risks and opportunities.This position reports to NCR’s Chief Risk Officer and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an effective ERM framework for the company’s overall operational, information security, strategic, reputational, technology, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and other risks.  This position will work closely with the company’s senior leaders to identify, assess, respond to, measure, monitor and communicate key business risks and opportunities.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYDevelop and maintain the company’s ERM framework, risk universe and applicable risk management policies and proceduresDevelop and execute regular assessments to identify risks and opportunities which may impact achievement of the company’s strategic objectivesPartner closely with business risk owners to develop appropriate plans in response to identified risks and opportunitiesDevelop applicable metrics and monitoring mechanisms including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and related executive risk dashboards and scorecardsSupport development and monitoring of the company’s risk appetiteSupport the Chief Risk Officer in the development and delivery of regular updates to the company’s Board of DirectorsSupport the Chief Risk Officer in the development and delivery of regular updates to the company’s Executive Risk CommitteeEstablish and maintain a Risk Liaison network of key cross-functional business leaders to assist in the development and execution of business risk management initiativesMonitor and report on global emerging risks and their potential impact on the company’s enterprise risk profilePartner with leaders from business assurance functions including Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, Data Privacy and others to implement effective cross-functional risk management strategiesOwn and manage newly implemented governance, risk and compliance (GRC) platformDevelop and deploy relevant ERM training and communications for company executives, managers and employeesManage a small team of risk analystsBASIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, Engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant experienceStrong working knowledge of common risk frameworks including COSO (2017)Prior experience designing and executing enterprise risk assessmentsProven experience building and leading cross-functional teamsProven ability to assemble, inspire, and lead project teams without direct reporting linesExperience and personal passion for solving complex business issuesClear thinker with the ability to break down and present complex issues in a simple and concise mannerStrong communication skills with ability to work effectively with individuals across a large global organization up to and including senior leadership and the company’s Board of DirectorsHighly flexible, self-starter who works well in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, and high visibility environmentStrong organization and management skills in a multi-tasking environmentPositive individual who enjoys working in a fun and dynamic team environmentDESIRED EXPERIENCEPrevious experience designing and implementing an ERM program at a large, multi-national companyPrevious experience implementing and managing a GRC platform
