MANTECH seeks a strategic and dynamic **Executive Director of Business Development and Capture** to join our Intel Sector Growth team. This individual will support MANTECH at our Corporate Headquarters in **Herndon, VA.**
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Develop and manage a healthy pipeline while leading opportunity capture strategies in collaboration with proposal operations, solutions architects, business growth teams, and leadership
+ Define opportunity requirements and address capabilities gaps by identifying areas of improvement and applying innovative solutions
+ Initiate and participate in customer discussions including the generation and presentation of White Papers and briefings, and representation at MANTECH at solicitation conferences
+ Identify industry teammates, lead discussions, and negotiate teaming agreements
+ Initiate and support solutioning discussions with internal and external resources including MANTECH practice areas.
+ Brief MANTECH leadership on the status of opportunities and close open action items
+ Support customer account planning and participate in company branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses and participation in industry groups to gain insight to near/far-term customer & mission needs
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Minimum 15 years direct experience within the Intelligence Community focused on Virginia based Intel Community Agencies
+ 5 years relevant Business Development experience or equivalent experience supporting Virginia based Agencies
+ Demonstrated track record of consistently winning opportunities up to $100M; experience with prospects greater than $100M strongly desired.
+ Bachelor’s Degree
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Strategic thinker, with the ability to create and execute strategies that lead to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
**Physical Requirements**
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation
